~I also recommend Leatherup and JaminLeather.
Just ask them they will send you a cataloge. Good leather is important that's for sure. I have used both of those companies and so have many other friends.Of course ebay is great and your local dealership. What I wondered one day looking around...was what's the BEST type of leather? Goat, buffalo, cow? I found some terribly expensive stuff out there! Especially in Wyoming!

I bought my chaps at a rally. Some vendors have better prices than others, so look around before you buy.Bear in mind too that while most vendors take plastic, not aLL do.Cheap leather isn't worth ANYTHING. Ypu'll end up leaving some of it in the wind-piece by piece. Harley has good quality, but my chaps were/are worth every dollar I spent on them. They're going to stretch too. Don't buy them too loose.

Minx, you might want to try Hill Country Leathers in Wimberly Tx. , up North east of Austin.

Great prices (got my chaps for $109.00 and a nice Jacket for a hundred), they have a pretty good selection of ladies gear there also.

Ohh and don't worry about me being in this ladies only thread.. See I'm a lesbian trapped in a mans body so your secrets are safe with me...

Everything I have, saddlebags, chaps, vests, jackets, boots, hair ties, etc. I had to get online at these three sites. www.leather.com www.leatherup.com and www.jaminleather.com. You will be more than pleasantly surprised at the prices. I am very happy with everything I purchased. Good luck!

Try to find bike rallies and/or runs in your area that have vendors. All the 2-3 day and larger events have them but sometimes smaller ones do too. You might also try leather/biker clothes/manufacturers websites. Try UNIK International, FIRST Leather Apparel, and BIKER'S Leather Stuff. Good Luck .....I lucked out one day @ a pawn shop, believe it or not!!! I got a $280 pair of lined chaps. I dont think they had ever been worn @ all, they fit like they were made just for me (Im pretty tall so I have hard time w/ length!!) I paid $49!!!!

My first set of leathers i bought at San Diego Leather Jacket factory. Very good quality and worth every cent. Had them for 13 years. My new leathers i had made custom order at US leather factory in Danvers MA very good quality and about what i would have paid for off the rack.

Harley store are really pricey....you pay for the name, but it's good quality.
Go to a leather store, flea market or perhaps even a second hand store.

I don't care where you get it.... I just want to see you in it..

You're so sweet to send me your vest...
Maybe I'll find chaps under the Christmas tree!

Hey Ladies,
I made my own vest/halter...took a mccalls pattern, found the leather at a wannabee powwow. It's blue/black, hand sewn & shoulder straps are weaved strips of leather. It was a booger to make, but well worth it! I wish u lived close to me...we could work it! Then you'd have your own personalized creation.

I've bought a few items including my chaps at jaminleather, daytona.I had it shipped to Canada and with the exchange and shipping costs it still cost me less than it would have if I bought it here in Canada.Take a peek online-they have some nice things(some sexy things too..smile)

Hey crazee, I know of a few places ..... Maybe a ride to Janesville after I pick you up. There is an outlet .... "Renegade" ... that has a lot of stuff and there is a "parts unlimited" outlet store (Drag Specialties parent co.) near there that has a few things too. And of course Kutter HD. When should I pick you up?
